Sister taxa: Obdurodon insignis, Obdurodon tharalkooschild
Type specimen: QM F20564, a skull (skull with L and RP1-2/). Its type locality is Ringtail Site, which is in a Langhian/Serravallian fluvial horizon in Australia.
Ecology: scansorial insectivore-herbivore
Distribution: found only at Ringtail Site
