Sister taxon: Isfaroptera yujiagouensis

Type specimen: PIN 3738/1, a forewing (male forewing). Its type locality is Shurab II, Ditch 284, which is in a Toarcian terrestrial horizon in the Sulyukta Formation of Kyrgyzstan.

Ecology: fast-moving ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution: found only at Shurab II, Ditch 284
