Type specimen: CNU-MEC-NN-2010044, an exoskeleton (almost complete female). Its type locality is Daohugou (CNU 2010 collection), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large shale in the Daohugou Formation of China.

Distribution: found only at Daohugou (CNU 2010 collection)
