Type specimen: Do-7-K-1, an exoskeleton (male imago). Its type locality is Dominican amber (SMNS coll), which is in a Burdigalian/Langhian terrestrial amber in the Dominican Republic.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Dominican amber (SMNS coll)
