Type specimen: BGR X 9216, an exoskeleton (wings and abdomen). Its type locality is Bore WISBAW 1315 Depth 517.6 -517.78 m, which is in an Arnsbergian paralic shale in the Sandersdorf Formation of Germany.

Distribution: found only at Bore WISBAW 1315 Depth 517.6 -517.78 m
