Taxonomy
Albumares brunsae was named by Keller and Fedonkin (1977). Its type specimen is GIN N4464/14 and is an impression. Its type locality is Right bank of the Syuzma River, 5 km upstream from the mouth, which is in an Ediacaran marine sandstone in the Verkhovka Formation of the Russian Federation.
