Jattadectes mamikheli
Taxonomy
Jattadectes mamikheli was named by Thewissen et al. (2001). Its type specimen is H-GSP 97203, a maxilla (left maxillary fragment with M2-3), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Jatta Salt Mine, which is in an Eocene terrestrial horizon in the Mami Khel Formation of Pakistan. It is the type species of Jattadectes.
