Taxonomy
Lethiscus stocki was named by Wellstead (1982). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Wardie Shore, north of Edinburgh, which is in a Holkerian/Asbian lacustrine shale in the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Lethiscus.
