Antofagastia turneri

Taxonomy
Antofagastia turneri was named by García López and Babot (2015). Its type specimen is MHAS 003, a maxilla (Fragment of left maxilla preserving most of the zygomatic process, the orbital process, and dentitionIt includes an incomplete P4, almost complete M1, and com), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Antofagasta de la Sierra, which is in a Priabonian terrestrial sandstone/conglomerate in the Geste Formation of Argentina. It is the type species of Antofagastia.
