Taxonomic list comments:aquatic-riparian environment. Uniquely large assemblage of fish species (for Hungary) and one of only two sites with Hippopotamus in Hungary (the other is Budakalasz), suggesting that the Hippo did not penetrate far into the Carpathian Basin. |
