• Lignite is inferred to record an ancient local swamp that extended on either side of the channel. The flora with Eocene indicator plants but also with a high percentage of those found in Paleocene strat was obtained from the interchannel deposits of the Camels Butte member immediately about its lower boundary in one of the western pits of the Hebron Brick Company
