Locality 2 southern Lanzarote Island (Pleistocene of Spain)

Where: Spain (28.8° N, 13.8° W: paleocoordinates 28.8° N, 13.8° W)

• coordinate estimated from map

• outcrop-level geographic resolution

When: Middle Pleistocene (0.8 - 0.1 Ma)

• STRATIGRAPHIC RELATIONS: From unnamed lithostratigraphic unit. AGE: Anfatian (= mid Pleistocene) Lecointre et al (1967); Zazo et al (2002): no geochronological dates, but probably Pleistocene age because their morphosedimentary features and faunal contents are similar to Pleistocene terraces.
