Also known as Pranhita–Godavari Basin
Where: Andhra Pradesh, India (19.2° N, 79.5° E: paleocoordinates 32.2° S, 36.0° E)
• coordinate estimated from map
• small collection-level geographic resolution
When: Lower Dharmaram Formation (Gondwana Group), Norian to Norian (228.0 - 201.3 Ma)
• The lower Dharmaram Formation overlies the upper Maleri Formation of Norian age and contains typical Triassic pseudosuchians (aetosaurs, phytosaurs) but lacks rhynchosaurs and therapsids. As a result, the Dharmaram is inferred to be of late Norian to Rhaetian age.
