Environment/lithology: wet floodplain; fine-grained, silty sandstone and lenticular, paleosol/pedogenic, gray, yellow, argillaceous sandstone

• Unit F: "low-energy depositional environment"

•Unit E: "paleosols"

• Unit F: "interbedded sand-siltstone layers...The main facies is characterized by laminated and horizontally stratified fine-grained sandstone and micro cross-lamination. Scour-and-fill structures are rare."

•Unit E: "well developed paleosol horizons that are 1-3 m thick. This individual paleosols are of lenticular shape and show mottled, dark grey to yellow massive shaly sandstones. Weak horizontal stratification can be observed in parts."
