• 20-50m thick , has nearly the same geographical distrobution as the Liangchiashan formation. Fauna allows correlation of the Upper Yehli formation with Upper Tremadoc equvalents

Environment/lithology: marine; lithified, green, yellow limestone

• Alteration of yellowish green shales, thin bedded compact limestones and biocarenites
