• "Derivation of the specimen from the Niobrara Formation is also indicated by the Foraminifera, which have been studied by Dr. Harry L. Cousminer. The species recovered are common in the Smoky Hill Member of the Niobrara in Kansas, eastern South Dakota, and northern Nebraska."
