• The section is composed of deposits from the Upper Severodvinian and Lower Vyatkian Stages. The rocks of the Severodvinian Stage are represented by the Vyazovka Formation. Fossils are found in interbeds of gray silty clays and psammitic marls. They are represented by scarce tests and molds of Ostracoda, bivalves, and fish scales. Most of the insect imprints were also found in [Severodvinian] marls.
