Where: Neuquén, Argentina (37.9° S, 68.5° W: paleocoordinates 40.8° S, 53.0° W)

• coordinate based on nearby landmark

• small collection-level geographic resolution

When: Anacleto Formation (Neuquén Group), Early/Lower Campanian to Early/Lower Campanian (83.5 - 70.6 Ma)

• now Río Colorado Subgroup; 25 m above egg-bed 4. Pubis found a few meters above Aucasaurus skeleton, but during same excavation. Post-C33R interval

• group of beds-level stratigraphic resolution

Environment/lithology: lacustrine - small; gray, green mudstone and sandstone

• "this bed appears to represent a shallow water, lacustrine deposit based on the well-developed laminae and the presence of freshwater arthropods."
• "The new specimen described here was found in an unusual laminated unit, composed of varves of unknown periodicity of greenish gray mudstone and very fine-grained sandstone about 70 m above the base of the section near the top of the exposures of the Anacleto Member."
