• Normally magnetised deposits, either the Olduvai or Reunion Subchron. Plio-Pleistocene. On the border between the Kuruksay (= Kuruksai) and Kairubak suites. MN17.

• Found in 1962, excavated since 1971. The faunal lists are very different, as it was excavated by two different teams, both lists have been entered, the only overlap is Equus stenonis.
