• AGE: Nelson (1976, 1978) places the Poleta Formation on the boundary between the Nevadella and Bonnia-Olenellus trilobite zones, with the lower Poleta Formation (from which this collection is described) within the Nevadella zone; age revised by A. Hendy (5/2009) from "Cambrian" to Montezuman following Streng et al. (2005).
