When: Middle Pleistocene (0.8 - 0.1 Ma)

• Late Middle Pleistocene, based on fauna. There are two localites (Quisisana and Certosa) in a south sloping terrace and several collections dating back to 1901 are included in this faunal list. They have all been referred to 'Quisisana-Certosa'. The site has been controversial because of the possible association of stone tools with Middle Pleistocene faunas.
