Where: Pakistan (29.9° N, 70.1° E: paleocoordinates 13.2° N, 65.6° E)

When: Domanda Formation (Khirthar Group), Middle Eocene (47.8 - 37.7 Ma)

• about 200 m above the base of the formation

Environment/lithology: coastal; brown, gray, green, red claystone

• mottled red, chocolate, green and gray clays, with some shale and beds of paper shale especially near the base

Size class: macrofossils

Preservation: original phosphate
