Environment/lithology: shoreface; lithified, concretionary, ferruginous, white, argillaceous sandstone

• "sandstone containing numerous hard concretions of clay ironstone...buried the skeleton in white sand which has become an extremely hard sandstone showing pronounced cross bedding which dips 30°N.60°E...a thin film of clay ironstone has formed over the surface of some of the bones."
