Where: Pakistan (36.7° N, 74.8° E: paleocoordinates 48.3° S, 62.5° E)
• coordinate based on nearby landmark
• outcrop-level geographic resolution
When: Panjshah Formation (Chapursan Group), Kungurian (279.3 - 272.3 Ma)
• It was given a Kubergandian age, but the Kubergandian is now partly correlated to the Kungurian (e.g. in its type area in the Pamirs by Angiolini et al. 2015). In particular, strata with the same brachiopods in the Lashkargaz Formation are basal Kubergandian and contain fusulinids Parafusulina (Skinnerella) and Misellina, including species typical of the Armenina-Misellina ovalis zone in the Pamirs (Kungurian according to Angiolini et al. 2015).
• bed-level stratigraphic resolution
Environment/lithology: open shallow subtidal; lithified mixed carbonate-siliciclastic sediments
Size class: macrofossils
Collection methods: All specimens are housed at the Museo di Paleontologia (MPUM) del Dipartimento di Scienze della Terra dell'Universtia degli Studi de Milano (Italy).
