Environment/lithology: transition zone or lower shoreface; lithified siltstone and lithified mudstone

• Shallow marine sedimentation, at or around fair weather wave base.

•Contains abundant, thin, event-beds that preserve a diverse ichnofauna. The sands are deposited

•unidirectional currents with occasional wave ripples and heavily bioturbated offshore shelf mudstones.
