•Later referrals of a number of vertebrae and ribs from the Late Oligocene "Butte Creek beds" (Scott Mills Formation) [28, 29] may extend the stratigraphic range of A. cotylalveus to the late Chattian [30-32], but in the absence of skull material or ear bones cannot currently not be confirmed.
