•Based on Krause et al. 2020 and Carballido et al. 2017. The contact zones between Puesto La Paloma and Cerros CastaƱo is approximately Aptian-Early Albian at ~118.5-110.8 Ma.

Environment/lithology: lacustrine; conglomerate

• A playa lake environment with eolian deposits that was subjected to influxes of sediment from ephemeral fluvial systems and debris flows from higher elevations
• "channel of reworked, conglomerate tuff"
