• Unit B in Ward 1992 (Fig. 10), ~2.0 m of sand. Collection from Sunken Meadow Mbr of Yorktown Fm, above the Cobham Bay Mbr, Eastover Fm and underlies the Rushmere Mbr of the Yorktown Fm. Local section name: Murfreesboro. Basinal/regional section name: Hertford County.

Environment/lithology: coastal; unlithified, fine-grained, shelly/skeletal, gray sandstone

• No geologic or environmental data provided in text. Presumably accumulated during a successive transgression following post Eastover Fm regression. Appears to contain a normal marine fauna.
