When: Virgin Member (Moenkopi Formation), Spathian (251.3 - 247.2 Ma)

Environment/lithology: lithified, calcareous grainstone and lithified, green shale

• Calc-arenite in some places separated by up to 40cm of green shale. Bioclastic limestone with concretions in upper part. Shells from surface just below top. Shell bed at top with Promyalina and Homomya, and gastropods
