Also known as GS 12149

Where: New Zealand (43.7° S, 176.5° W: paleocoordinates 52.0° S, 152.6° W)

• coordinate estimated from map

• outcrop-level geographic resolution

When: Te One Limestone Member (Red Bluff Tuff Formation), Bortonian to Bortonian (43.0 - 36.0 Ma)

• AGE: The Te One Limestone is assigned a Bortonian-Kaiatan age based on biostratigraphy from combination of faunal groups.

• bed-level stratigraphic resolution

Environment/lithology: offshore; poorly lithified, shelly/skeletal, calcareous grainstone

• ENVIRONMENT: Molluscan assemblages give little indication of depth of deposition, but an inner-middle shelf setting is suggested; siliciclastic environment.
• SPECIFIC LITHOLOGY: Soft bryozoan calcarenite. LITHIFICATION: Poorly lithified, as described as "soft"
