• near base of formation; Adamanian LVF; radiometric dates suggest that the Chinle is entirely Norian in age. Also known as the Bluewater Creek Member of the Chinle Formation

Environment/lithology: wet floodplain; paleosol/pedogenic, volcaniclastic, silty mudstone
