AGE: Eptachorion Fm is Late Rupelian to Late Chattian based on planktonic foraminfera, corresponding to biozones P20-P21 (Barbieri 1992) and to NP 24 (Zygojanni and Müller, 1982) based on nannoplankton. Placed in Chattian following other regional assemblages containing similar fauna. STRATIGRAPHIC POSITION: From unknown position within unit.
