Environment/lithology: intrashelf or intraplatform reef; lithified limestone

• The buildups developed on the Milverton carbonate platform, whereas the Waulsortian buildups in the S Co. Dublin developed in a deeper ramp setting of the Dublin Basin.
• massive buildup facies with a bank-like structure, 2 m thick, intercalated with thin grainstone beds, crinoids are the most conspicuous macrofauna, rare solitary corals in the lower part
