• coordinate estimated from map

• small collection-level geographic resolution

When: Late/Upper Miocene (11.6 - 5.3 Ma)

• STRATIGRAPHIC RELATIONS: From an undifferentiated lithostratigraphic unit. AGE: Late Miocene, on the basis of foraminiferal biostratigraphy. STRATIGRAPHIC POSITION: A composite from several beds within the section of drill core of 800-900 ft.

• group of beds-level stratigraphic resolution

Environment/lithology: lagoonal or restricted shallow subtidal; unlithified lithology not reported

• EMVIRONMENT: Probably accumulated in an open lagoon, shelf, or reef platform, rather than on a steep seaward slope of a reef.
