Where: Florida (27.5° N, 80.8° W: paleocoordinates 27.6° N, 80.4° W)

• coordinate based on nearby landmark

• basin-level geographic resolution

When: Rucks Pit Member (Nashua Formation), Early/Lower Pleistocene (2.6 - 0.8 Ma)

• STRATIGRAPHIC RELATIONS: From the Rucks Pit Mbr of the Nashua Fm, Okeechobee Grp, which overlies by the Fort Drum Mbr, and is overlain by the Fort Thompson Fm. Correlative with the Waccamaw Fm (North Carolina), Bees Branch and Ayers Land Mbr of the Caloosahatchee Fm (Florida), and the Flanners Beach Fm (North and South Carolina). THICKNESS: Varies between 3 and 4 m across areal extent. AGE: Early Pleistocene. Based on macrofossil biostratigraphy the unit is assigned to the middle-late Calabrian. STRATIGRAPHIC POSITION: Checklist representative of entire member.

• member-level stratigraphic resolution

Environment/lithology: lagoonal or restricted shallow subtidal; poorly lithified, shelly/skeletal, silty, sandy limestone

• ENVIRONMENT: Lagoonal and shallow subtidal carbonate; shallow muddy coastal lagoon.
• SPECIFIC LITHOLOGY: Various mixtures of quartz sand and lime mud packed with mollusc shells (arenaceous bioclastic calciludite). LITHIFICATION: Poorly-lithified, based on figured specimens and facies description.
