• LITHOSTRATIGRAPHIC RELATIONSHIPS: From the Pinecrest Mbr of the Tamiami Formation, and is correlative to the Morgats Beach Mbr of the Yorktown Fm, Duplin, and upper beds of the Jackson Bluff Fm. AGE: Late Pliocene, mid-Piacenzian, on the basis of macrofssil biostratigraphy. STRATIGRAPHIC POSITION: From unknown position within formation.

Environment/lithology: coastal; poorly lithified, shelly/skeletal, argillaceous, sandy marl

• ENVIRONMENT: Shallow marine siliciclastic setting, possibly firmground based on presence of epifaunal taxa.
• GENERAL LITHOLOGY: Hard, light colored calcareous sandy clays or argillaceous marls. LITHIFICATION: Poorly lithified on the basis of facies description.
