• STRATIGRAPHIC RELATIONS: From the Kuanchuanpu Fm, which overlies the Dengying Fm, and is overlain by the Guojiaba Fm. AGE: Meishucunian; probably Nemakit-Daldynian; Anabarites trisulcatus-Protohertzina anabarica Assemblage Zone. STRATIGRAPHIC POSITION: From near base of section.

• ENVIRONMENT: Carbonate platform.
• SPECIFIC LITHOLOGY: Limestone. In general formation described as dark phosphatic carbonates, siltstones, and cherts. LITHIFICATION: Lithified, on the basis of figured specimens and facies descriptions.

Preservation: soft parts, replaced with phosphate
