Environment/lithology: terrestrial; claystone

• Turtle Bluff Member consists of "predominant variegated red, green, and gray claystone and mudstone with lesser amounts of grayish-white tuffaceous sandstone and gray and brown limestone, and with high gypsum content" and bed is shown as a claystone in an illustrated section
