• STRATIGRAPHIC RELATIONS: From the Latrania Sand Mbr of Imperial Fm, which is overlain by the Canebrake Conglomerate. AGE: Pliocene, on the basis of molluscan biostratigraphy; placed by enterer in Early Pliocene based on existing collections and similarity with Late Miocene assemblages in California. STRATIGRAPHIC POSITION: From unknown position within member.
