AGE: Late Pleistocene, on the basis of molluscan biostratigraphy and stratigraphic position (terrace). STRATIGRAPHIC POSITION: Lens of fossiliferous sand overlying truncated surface of grey weathering, hard Mesozoic sandstone approximately 22 feet above sea level.
