Where: Morocco (31.5° N, 5.0° W: paleocoordinates 61.5° S, 115.8° E)

When: Cephalopyge notabilis trilobite zone, Breche a Micmacca Member (Jbel Wawrmast Formation), Lenian (516.0 - 510.2 Ma)

• About 0.7 m above the base of the bed. It is from this section that most of the spectacular commercial giant Cambrian trilobites of Morocco come from. Lower portion of zone

• member-level stratigraphic resolution

Environment/lithology: lithified, gray, yellow, sandy marl

• Grayish to ochre-coloured sandy marlstones, laterally grading into calcareous fine-granied sandstones, 0.7m above the base of the formation.

Size classes: macrofossils, mesofossils

Preservation: replaced with calcite, replaced with phosphate

Collection methods: Only includes brachiopods for genus/species descriptions.
