Type specimen: TNM MP-207, a partial skeleton (partial skeleton including skull, axial skeleton anterior to sacrum, partial left and right humeri, and partial left radius). Its type locality is Mahenge, which is in a Lutetian crater lake mudstone/shale in Tanzania.

Ecology: volant insectivore

Distribution: found only at Mahenge
