Type specimen: NIGP NND04135, an exoskeleton (Complete body). Its type locality is Daohugou (NIGP 2004 collection), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large shale in the Daohugou Formation of China.

Ecology:

Distribution: found only at Daohugou (NIGP 2004 collection)
