Belongs to Neimenggucossus according to B. Wang and H. C. Zhang 2007
Sister taxa: none
Type specimen: NIGP NND04134, a hindwing. Its type locality is Daohugou (NIGP 2004 collection), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large shale in the Daohugou Formation of China.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Daohugou (NIGP 2004 collection)
