  • Carcharodontosaurus saharicus: BSP 1922 X-46; SGM Din-1 (neotype), a set of teeth
  • Megalosaurus africanus: Its type locality is 2 km from Timimoun, which is in an Albian terrestrial horizon in the Continental Intercalaire Formation of Algeria.

Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore

Distribution:

• Cretaceous of Algeria (3 collections), Egypt (2), Morocco (8), Niger (6), Tunisia (2)
