Type specimen: UMMP 7476, a skeleton. Its type locality is east bank of Blanco River, which is in a Carnian/Norian crevasse splay claystone/claystone in the Tecovas Formation of Texas.

• Triassic of United States (5: Arizona, New Mexico, Texas collections)

Total: 5 collections each including a single occurrence
