Type specimen: IVPP V8928, a tooth (RM1). Its type locality is 5311, Rencun, Mianchixian County, Yuanqu basin, which is in a Sharamurunian terrestrial horizon in the Hedi Formation of China.

Distribution:
• Eocene of China (2 collections)
