Sister taxon: Lasarchopyge correae

Type specimen: CEGH-UNC 16971, a cephalon/head. Its type locality is LA 2, Las Aguaditas North Section, ~5.5 km west and ~9.5 km south of San José da Jáchal, which is in a Costonian deep subtidal shelf marl/claystone in the Las Aguaditas Formation of Argentina.

Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal deposit feeder

Distribution:

• Ordovician of Argentina (2 collections)

Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
