Type specimen: USNM 2703, a mandible (partial left mandible). Its type locality is Quarry 9, Como Bluff (YPM), which is in a Kimmeridgian/Tithonian fluvial-lacustrine mudstone/sandstone in the Morrison Formation of Wyoming.

Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore

Distribution: found only at Quarry 9, Como Bluff (YPM)
