Type specimen: USNM 364762, a partial skeleton (upper teeth, lower teeth, axis, front limb elements, and other postcrania). Its type locality is Half Mile North of the Pinnacle, which is in a Bridgerian terrestrial horizon in the Bridger Formation of Wyoming.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore
